‘Café Connect’ is a philosophical and social work about the role of media in human connection. Departing from the current situation of large scale loneliness, the work focuses on the positive, finding creative ways to address the situation. ‘Café Connect’ invites people to perform written instructions that disrupt everyday movements and actions, leading to explore the questions: What is rich human connection? And how can our phones be a tool to connect?
Fundamental to the participatory work, the documentary ‘Connected’ provides deeper insight into what role media plays in human connection. This documentary will be screened at the graduation show and will be available on youtube from the 6th of July, named; CONNECTED (short docu).
